The Permain period occured during the Paleozoic era in Earth's history. No dinosaurs lived during this time. This was a time for such strange creatures as Dimetrodon and Moschops. Forerunners to the dinosaurian lineage, the first archosaurs (like Archosaurus) were also present at this time.
